U ought to try getting a Jeep Grand Cherokee. They happen to be 4x4s,have decent gas mileage and still be able to use it in the every day sort of way

Well you can go to the dealer to find out about gas milage. As far as being cool I will say this much. I am all about buying american and I would never own a foreign car. Even as much as I am against foreign cars I will admit I love the look of the FJ Cruiser. I hate to say it but I think it's the coolest looking SUV on the road.

It gets about the same mileage as an 07 Tundra with the new big v8, not so good by comparison. I really wanted on of the new FJ's when they first came out but,then I drove one and the blind spots are horrible not to mention the fuel economy of that v6 that requires premium fuel (This is coming from a Toyota tech).

I held out and waited for the new Tundra with the big V8 that can tow 10,800 pounds with 381 horsepower and 401 ft lbs of torque, with the same mileage as the new FJ.

The girl thing, my sisters have 4runners and solaras.

here is some info. go to the toyota website and type in your vehicle, you will get lots of info. everything you need to know about that ccar.

next go to edmund.com they review cars.



then last of all just type in fj cruise and see what comes up. all the info you could possibly need is available to you. go to some car clubs with that vehicle.



but when looking for a car be sure to do your homework, know all the features available for that truck. know the engines sizes, the "specs" right down to the seats. if they are heated or not if they are electric or not. they are so many options with each car. it is in your best interest to study about the car you like. don't just take somebodys word. learn about for you, you may find that you really don't like this truck just because they the wind blows your hair when the window is half way down!

They definately are not cool. Remember the Pontiac Aztek. I put it on the same level as that. Try a Jeep, or even the Mazda CX-7 is better than the FJ Cruiser

Yes, they are kind of cool . Go to the company web site and check the different engine/model combinations out. They should give you all the required EPA fuel mileage/emissions information. If your still not completely satisfied, look for a 'contact us' link on they're site (sometimes they hide them pretty good but they're usually there). Don't be afraid to ask them any AND every question you may have, you're the one giving them the $$$. You can't possibly affend them.

No, they're not good on gas. No SUVs are except the Murano, CR-V, RAV-4 and the Element. Those are decent on gas.



The FJ struggles to get 20 on highway under ideal conditions. That's unacceptable & if people stop buying them automakers will change their strategy for the good of the planet.

2WD: 16/20

4WD manual: 15/18

4WD automatic: 16/20

You decide if that is good or not. I'd say it is horrible myself.

their pretty cool,gas mileage wise they don't do so good,any 4 wheel drive vehicle is not go in to get as good as a 2 wheel drive one,but they look good if your looking for mileage you,ll have to go with a 2 wheel drive vehicle,good luck on it.
