i have a 98 toyota camery xle ignition switch will not turn?

my ignition switch will not turn

Don't force the key or you'll snap it off in the key hole. Go to the dealer with your VIN and they can cut a new key using their factory code cutting machine. Don't just have a copy of the worn out key made.

The cylinder may be worn out, or possibly the key itself. Keys wear out too. Try a spare key if you have one.

if the column is 'loaded' it can lock them up .. try pulling hard one way or the other on the wheel while you turn the key ..
