First off the Le is more expensive than the Ce. the Le can go well above 17,000 dollars. while the ce can go between 14-15,000 dollars. Then again, the Le has a lot more options that the Ce and I personally like the styling of the Le. There's no gray border between the doors.

On the 06 Corolla, the only differences are equipment. On the LE, you get a plusher interior, power windows and locks, color-keyed mirrors and door moldings (instead of black),cruise control and a few other minor features not even available on the CE. Also, you can get LE exclusive options like alloy wheels, leather upholstery or a sunroof (to name a few). Other than that, they are the same car.

There are 3 versions of the 8th gen.

VE= value edition.

CE= classic (i think...) edition

LE= luxury edition.

Main difference that I can think of right now.

features in LE not in CE

better seat cloth

optional ABS

center armrest

digital clock

painted mirrors and mouldings

blacked out window pillars

optional foglights

optional alloy wheels

optional sunroof

cruise control

power mirror

CE is the econ-version. LE is the luxury edition. The LE will have many more options as far as interior, sound and what have you. The CE is your basic plain Jane run of the mill car.
