You should stop by the Toyota Dealership and ask just in case nothing embarrassing about that. That or call the person you bought the car from and ask how they did and if they can show you. It could be that you dont have the engine starter but just says it on the remote then again I could be wrong but I would make sure

Remote starter on 2007 Avalon Limited worked fine until the car battery was briefly disconnected. Now the car starts remotely but will not stay running, the engine cuts off after 4-5 seconds. Was there re-programming to be done outside of the obvious (seat position, audio, clock)?

Yes, press...press...hold the lock button should work with starting the car. Make sure the remote has fresh batteries and hold the button down for a few seconds as well. When you are doing this, do the signal lights flash when you hold the button down? (They should be) I would still recommend you stop by a local Toyota dealer and ask for help. Guys like me (Toyota salespeople) love to help out with things like this. Just remember, press press hold for a few seconds...dont press too slowly. The two press should be done in less then 2 seconds...then hold for at least 3-4 seconds on the 3rd press...good luck!

pressing the distant starter isn't any diverse to turning a key. its in basic terms the maximum recent gadget positioned on autos to make then exciting, i've got faith John Paul is a vehicle mechanic, he would not have performed all that artwork , yet he might have charged for it. commencing the vehicle a week and not making use of it has drained the battery, as long as you fee it up and don't flow away the battery drained, probability is that's going to be ok. yet working the vehicle in idle without making use of it, just to fee the battery would not be doing it any favours the two, in case you may rigidity it, Your automobile will earnings from the circulate of the oil around the engine and your tyres should not be status in one place. however you may desire to purchase a battery charger and positioned it on fee each and every now and lower back possibly in basic terms in the past you choose to apply it.
