I wouldn't tire shop by manufacturer alone. Each manufacturer has their great-performing tires and their duds. The name often doesn't mean much at all. Also, "best" is impossible to define. Some have the longest treadwear, others have the best wet-traction, snow-traction, etc, some have the best value, some have the lowest noise, etc.
There are still some variables you haven't mentioned, such as the types of weather where you live, whether or not you tow or haul, what your tire size is, whether or not you want/need LT (light truck) tires (verses P-metric) (passenger). Also, does the "1/4" mean a compact truck or a 4x2 (2wd) truck?
I would use survey and test results from a site like Tirerack.com to help you choose, for example here is their ranking for the highway all-season category (there are many other categories)

For the category, the Michelin LTX M/S2 and Firestone Destination LE2 currently have the top overall ratings.
For lower cost, on a compact truck that doesn't do much towing or hauling, you may use passenger all-season tires (if they are available in your size).

On Tirerack, the Goodyear Assurance TripleTred and Goodyear Assurance ComforTred are in the top slots.
Enter your tire size near the top of the review charts to see top rated choices available in that size.
