I guess......

I mean if you think about it....only American pedals were included in the recall not the denso pedals in Japan

Denso good CTS.....????

If you didn't know even American cars are facing this problem...and this disease is hitting up Honda and Nissan

Go on google....type

Jeep/Chrysler Sudden Acceleration

Honda Sudden Acceleration

Nissan Sudden Acceleration

.....if you don't believe me....

from this statement it obviously makes sense that American Engineering may have played a factor....sadly I will get alot of thumbs down for this

Despite the fact that Ford, has made over 1100+ recall, GM & Chevy has made over 1200+ recall together.... This seriously proves that American engineering cannot be trusted.....

Rep. Dan Burton said the same thing.....

Toyota has had more recalls than all thre domestic companies over the last ten years so the answer to your question is no. America is blaming Toyota because they covered up problems, lied and tried to place the blame on everyone else but themselves.

It depends what you call an American car. Look at the tag on the door for the place of origin sticker. GM cars and trucks, Dodge cars and trucks, Ford cars and trucks, you will see either Mexico or Canada. Look on the door of a Toyota you will see Kentucky, Texas, Indiana, Pennsylvania. USA. Now I have that off my chest.

Yes they are witch hunting Toyota. When a Legislative branch of the Government starts doing a Judicial function you know it is because they see their pockets about to get filled!! Yes, we all know who owns the GM stock. Through out automotive history there have been throttle problems and usually they find most is owner error. I am sure the American three would have throttle problems too if you shorted a couple of wires bypassing safety devices.

the massive 3 and the UAW LOVE ignorant human beings like you and definite i'm shocked they recalled more desirable automobiles. the fact? All 3 of those "Amurikan" motor vehicle manufacturers have had dissimilar recollects, dissimilar. per chance you're forgetting about the Navigator's burning in human beings's garages or Chevy's area saddle gasoline tanks exploding on effect? basically that maximum "Amurikan" automobiles are not any more quite American. you be conscious i'm previous adequate to bear in recommendations the outcry over the Chevy Luv, they marketed it as an American truck yet did not tell the generic public IT WASN'T. i will waste somewhat time on you contained in the desire that i will edjamakate ya somewhat- Chrysler owns Mitsubishi and places Mitsubishi automobiles(made in Japan) and transmissions in a lot of, many of their automobiles. basically Chrysler has plant life international wide making "Amurikan" automobiles. have a glance on the Avenger...Maaaheeeko. steer sparkling of Ram HD.....Maaaheeeko. I received't go away Chevy out both. you recognize that the majority suitable promoting Suburban/Yukon??....yep...Mahheeko. What about the Monte Carlo, an "Amurikan" motor vehicle from idea suited? Nope, Canananadadada,...Oshawa to be top. GM owns Isuzu and solely places THEIR diesel in GM automobiles. remember about SAAB. and finally your prefered "Amurikan" automaker...LOL!!! the position do I commence?!!!?? Oh! the Crown Vic, that notorious police cruiser that became offered with US tax money? Cananadadada. Ever listen of a Windsor 351? Why do you imagine they call it that? Windsor, Canada.(yeah, i recognize the 351 isn't in production yet DO you quite imagine FORD IDLED THE PLANT?) Oh and a million more desirable; you recognize that "Amurikan" motor vehicle that has set itself conveniently contained in the heritage books as an icon? THE MUSTANG? wager what? sixty 5% is US AND Canadian made. they have somewhat difficulty telling us how a lot of each yet basically imagine that "Amurikan" motor vehicle it quite is 35% overseas. Ford did own Jaguar, Land Rover and makes use of MANY Mazda automobiles of their automobiles. basically, the Ford Explorer and the Mazda equivilent ARE MADE area through area. definite, i recognize of MANY,MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY Toyotas which have lengthy gone 100k. I choose Nissan yet purely because their designs promote mechanical provider while "Amurikan" automobiles not in any respect do. i quite desire you examine what I easily have taken the time to variety and do somewhat questioning on your own for a substitute.

I'm not sure if America is blaming Toyota, but I am pretty sure that the American automakers are pretty happy that Toyota is experiencing this downturn. For so long, American cars got a bad wrap and foreign cars were considered to be better made. Now, the tables are turned!

With all the recalls in the past 6 months concerning "American made" vehicles, Toyota has a fairly good record. America is not blaming Toyota, (slip and fall lawyers excepted) the US govt is trying to blame them. Talk about a conflict of interest, GM (government motors) owned by the US government, holds 60% of the stock of Toyota's competition. Can we say conflict of interest?

Well, there's a difference between a recall for sudden acceleration or break problems, which can KILL people in a Toyota and a recall for faulty seat heater, which makes your a$$ not warm enough in a Chevy. So, the NUMBER of recalls is not as important as WHAT THE PROBLEMS ARE.

Still, I'd choose a Toyota over a GM car any day.

Toyota is the most recalled automaker over the last ten years! within that period Toyota has more recalls alone than the big three combined! American automakers may have had a rough period throughout the 80s and early 90s but they have been a cut above the foreign transplants since that period. Americans auto companies quality record was built on a small period and only lives on misconceptions from a small majority and the many ignorant that believe anything they hear without researching facts.

Dem...Toyota imports 50% of all the vehicles they sell in the US.It sounds like you are saying all GM,Ford, and Chrysler vehicles are built in Canada and Mexico. That is a false statement GM,Ford, and Chrysler build almost 70% of all vehicles they sell in the US.

Toyota dug their own grave IMO

No. Toyota has earned this fiasco by its own incompetence and deception.
