I got the best deal by contacting the dealer's internet sales dept. and telling them I knew the invoice price on the Tundra, and asked them to give me a quote (Less tax license and documentation fee) The number they shot back was about 100. over invoice, so it was a done deal. Watch out for the so-called Finance dept. That's where they try to sell you all kinds of overpriced extras that you usually don't need.....or can get elswhere for half the money.

That depends on what you want. If you want the least expensive truck, buy a new Ford or Chevy. They have the most manufacturer rebates and incentives. Toyotas are a lot more expensive to buy new, but they also hold their value better than domestic trucks. If I were you, I'd look into a used Tundra or Tacoma. I bought an 03 Tundra with 50k on it and haven't had a problem at all. I saved $10,000 over a new one.
